What is Maha Kumbh Mela?
Hindu festival with over 10,000 years of continuous tradition. Takes place every three years. Recognized as the world’s largest peaceful assembly of humanity.
Involves over 1.6 million sects of Hinduism, each with unique beliefs. Inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Centers around sacred bathing in holy rivers, known as Shahi Snan.
THE SPH is also the Mahāmandaleshwar (supreme spiritual head) of the 13 Akhāḍās of the Sanātana Hindu Kingdom, wielding this responsibility since 2007 when He was just 29 years of age.
THE SPH started spearheading an expansive movement taking the ancient duties of the Śri Panchayati Mahānirvaṇi Akhāḍā, to all of humanity around the world.
THE SPH is reviving the Spirit of the Kumbh Melā to unify all beings to spread the most auspicious blessings of peace and love!
